This game is best when the social interaction is highest, imo... see a number of familiar names around as I've bounced around here the last few days. Anyone actually check into these pages over here at the time? Check in and speak up!

How are things going? How many have been going strong and who just logged back in recently as well? There's a lot of things that look familiar and are coming back to me as I roam around. I was never particularly good at the game but could knock a guy out once in a while. Never did really figure out how to truly manage a fight unless I was just pummeling your guy. We will see how things go this time around.

If anyone is around, check in, say hi. Let's see if we can get these boards a little more active. More banter = more fun, IMO. So, what's on your mind? what's been going on the last 5 years - seems it's been about that long since I last checked in!

Popped back in last week and bot’d a slugger up to fight for a title in a few days. I may try and run a few guys. We’ll see.

I did the same thing. Have a regional title fight against a bit tomorrow. I am going to activate a couple guys and see how things go. Looking forward to a real fight or 3 in the next week or so.

Just won another world title after about a 7 or more year lay-off...

Has it been this easy for so long?

I was just happy to win a regional belt... but it was against a bot so...

I do have to defend that title against a higher rated bectel guy this week so that should be a nice challenge!

15 years ago there were probably 75 managers
playing, 7 years ago there were probably 30 managers
playing, now there is probably 20 playing on and off.
So yes it is probably easier now to win a title now than back
then. It is just recently within a year that you have been
able to bot a guy up for free . Before that is cost after a certain
rating and got higher as the bots got higher. Also when there
is no real manager to fight a bot is made from a real fighter to fight the champ. Now the bot could be a replica of a topped fighter from
the past or a bot monster at topped level. So even with the lack
of managers a title fight could be tough. plus there are a few Robot
gyms that have some decent fighters in (like the one you fought for the title).
The fights are easier because plans never change but the fighters may be
good. All done for the game,,rather fight a robot gym than a bot anytime.
Hell you are in the HOF, you are a great manager. I was looking forward
to fighting your guy for the title but you moved him,,LOL..hope you

Man this game is fun. Basically have just fought bots so far - either by choice looking to just get some action or just because that's what the game scheduled. Had a nice "live" fight against Mr. Bectel in a regional title defense. So stressful logging in to see how my little digital dude fared in the contest. So much fun in the end to see he got a hard fought 11th round KO!

Time to make and/or re-activate a couple more fighters and see how things go!

also... it is a long ways up to catch most of these world champs these days! whew!

Have to start somewhere if you want to go up the ranks. Might be a long ways to catch ZWIP but you can find goals like 10 WTs, 50 WTs, 100 WTs, etc etc.
