Jennifer sucessfully defended her US South Feather Weight Regional Title before moving into World Class, becoming the first boxer from Riblet's house of Good Eatin' to do so. In an interview with Jennifer after her second US South Title win she had this to say, "Oscar De La Hoya's failure continues to inspire me in the ring. Judges want to see the punches land solidly and often, so I gave them what they wanted to see. And I finished strong, landing more and more punches as the match wore on. There would be no question who had won this bout. I wanted it too badly to let it slip away like Oscar did."
