How old are you?
28

Where do you live?
Sydney, Australia

What do you do for a living (or trained to do if you're currently unemployed)?
Got out of the Army in April of this year, I now work as a Telecommunications and RF field technician for Motorola.

Level of education?
High School, I have started further education but never stuck to it:
Science Mathematics and Physics at Uni - Gave up after a couple of months because it was so boring.
Diploma in IT - Quit 3 months before the end to join the army because I hated the work I would end up doing.

Things you do in your off time, besides playing TBG?
Play Hockey, Golf and Indoor Football. Go to the Cinema, work on home renovations or just rest and relax with my fiance.

What's the story behind your gym name?
Lack of original thought, I used Balrog as my name in all sorts of games. I just loved the idea behind the Balrog's in Lord of the Rings, a real demon that would be almost impossible to beat.

Mostly from books that I have read, but also characters out of tv shows, movies, games and a whole lot of other names that I just thought of at the time. book

Heh, guess since I started this i should probably answer the questions...

How old are you?
*Just turned the big four-oh
Where do you live?
*Seattle, USA
What do you do for a living (or trained to do if you're currently unemployed)?
*Officially I work for USPS, but the vast majority of my time is spent negotiating grievances for the NALC union.
Level of education?
*BS in physics, minor in comparative religions
Things you do in your off time, besides playing TBG?
*build home audio components from scratch. Done with LP player, pre-amp, amp, loudspeakers, and cd player. Investigating dvd player and can't get a phono pre-amp to work the way I want yet. Also lots of home improvement projects and reading.
What's the story behind your gym name?
*Long story. If there's enough interest (yeah, right), I tell it again, but its one of many real life nicknames of mine
Where do you get most of your fighters names?
*I'll come across a first name from the news, a book, whatever, and I'll slap it on a random surname from some different source. Or full names of characters from books, movies, etc.

Where do you get most of your fighters names?

My fighters are all recruited. Any names I could come up with myself would violate the code of conduct

Anything else you'd like to add.

I have a sense of humour that pisses people off until they get to know me at which point they love me. Women desire me even though I'm ugly because they know I'll treat them like whores and deep down that's what they really want. When I stay in a hotel I always hide my toothbrush so that the maid doesn't use it to clean the toilet while I'm out.

That pretty much covers it.

Where do you get most of your fighters names?

tubes are easy enough! I don't know if you are handy with a soldering iron but it probably needs a few new caps. Sometimes it is good to leave it on for a while when it hasn't been used so the electrolytics can charge up again. Anyway, if you need help on something don't hesitate to email. I have 20 amps myself plus tube stereo gear so, while i bet slam knows a lot more than i do, I have diagnosed my share of amp problems in my life. book
