PeeWee was once named Frederick 'the Beast' Samuels
and he grew up in the South Side of Chicago. As a teenage boxer, he was quick
and often won bouts on points but never was able to hurt an opponent. After
one bout, his opponent scoffed at Samuels ever going pro. " You got to be kidding
me!" the opponent roared. "I've been hit harder by my sister and she's seven.
'The Beast? Please. His nickname should be PeeWee... PeeWee Punchless"
The opponent disappeared from the boxing scene but as it likely happens, the nickname stuck. He gained a lot of strength when he became an adult and is actually a brutal power puncher now but the nickname has become his inspiration and he wears it like a badge of honor.
