ennifer Ribblestien has been boxing for many years under her father's tutelage. She has fought amateur womens boxing matches the last three years, but after winning two national championships she has decided to start fighting professional now, in the men's US South Region! Riblet does not approve, but knows that his daughter will do as she wants anyway. And to help her as much as possible from getting hurt, he offered to manage her career as well.
Jennifer sucessfully defended her US South Feather Weight Regional Title before moving into World Class, becoming the first boxer from Riblet's house of Good Eatin' to do so. In an interview with Jennifer after her second US South Title win she had this to say, "Oscar De La Hoya's failure continues to inspire me in the ring. Judges want to see the punches land solidly and often, so I gave them what they wanted to see. And I finished strong, landing more and more punches as the match wore on. There would be no question who had won this bout. I wanted it too badly to let it slip away like Oscar did."
