Fighter Description

Fancy Fausto Sanchez from Warroad, Minnesota has the potential to be a bright young star in the Croom stable. Fausto attended Northland Community and Technical College in Thief River Falls, Minnesota for one year before winning the state Gold Gloves championship and coming to New York City. The well rounded young figher scored a knockout in his first pro fight and somewhat unexpextedly got a shot at the US East Regional title against a young, slick Dante "The Bell Ringer" Lewis. Sanchez and his corner felt like the won the fight handily, but the judges disagreed and he was robbed of the belt. Never one to criticize judges when old Major Croom is asked about the fight he just shakes his head, takes a puff off his pipe and lowers his eyes.
