Fighter Description

(no need to take any of this seriously). Apollo Katsuya is a first generation American. His Parents moved from Japan and he was born in Fresno, California. Ostracized initially by his classmates in elementary school and often bullied for his skinny build, he trained himself to boxing so he could defend himself. Eventually, he beat the crap out of the guys who used to bully him. With this new confidence, he felt he could take on anyone in the world. This confidence earned him the relationship of Marc "Rocky" Mato, another Japanese-American, from a crowd-election boxing match that Katsuya lost, but in turn won a best friend. Katsuya graduated from Fresno High School at the top ten of the class along with his friend and moved to Riverside, California to attend UC Riverside for a B.A. in Economics, returning on holidays to Fresno only to see his parents and to visit his high school pal, Rocky. To pay off his student loan he boxes as an amateur, and trains whenever he is not studying, eating, hanging with family and friends, or sleeping. This is just so he can do well in the sport, like he has for everything else. He is hoping to see Rocky in the Ring again, just for old time's sake. "I would definitely love to see Rocky in the ring again," says Katsuya.
