We have a winner!
Congratulations to Eddy Crown and his fighter Would You Like To Fly In My Beautiful Balloon.
He was the highest rated flyweight who met the division weight limit as of the May 3, 2004 deadline for this tournament.
Thanks to all who entered this marathon tournament.
We didn't produce a challenger for Samurai Slasher but I hope everyone enjoyed it.
Also congrats to Suxel for an outstanding showing. He would have won this tournament if his fighter could have met weight. One too many cheeseburgers for Fly to Samurai....=)

Fledgling Flyweights
A tournament to rejuvenate the flyweight division and create a viable challenger (eventually) for La-may's Samurai Slasher who hasn't had a challenger since July 29, 2002!
I have 3 other goals.
1) A unique concept.
2) A tournament that can keep interest over time.
3) Creating a unique link and competition with another existing tournament (Buffalo Bombers Redneck's Revenge)

SPECIAL NOTICE
New conditions have been added to the tournament to try to spice it up and hasten a winner. They are as follows:
- As of May 3rd any fighters who have not gained a 10-rating will be dropped from the tournament.
- If only 1 fighter has reached it, he will be the winner.
- If no one has then the highest rated fighter is declared the winner.
- If there is a tie points will break the tie.
- If there are two or more fighters above 10 the tournament will continue until one of the following conditions is met:
- one fights for a world title
- a Redneck beats them to a world title shot at which point the fighter with most points wins.
- there remains just one fighter above 10 rating. If a fighter at any point should drop below 10-rating he is then out of the tournament. It's not enough to just be at 10 on May 1st, you must stay at 10 or above, too.
